Baseball Recap: Bloomington North Victorious

After only one run in their last match, Bloomington North made sure to put some runs up on the board against Martinsville on Monday. The Cougars never let the Artesians get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Artesians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Bodhi Pulley looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Will Breedlove was excellent, going 1-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Liam Smith was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Bloomington North was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Martinsville only posted a batting average of .118.
