Basketball Recap: Wiregrass Takes a Loss

Wiregrass lost against East Central HomeSchool last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wiregrass Kings took a 69-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Central HomeSchool Patriots.

Wiregrass has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 15 of their last 16 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for East Central HomeSchool, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

Wiregrass will square off against Southern Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Central HomeSchool, they will head out to take on Glen Iris Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Central HomeSchool knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Glen Iris Baptist likes a good challenge.
