Baseball Game Preview: Cooper Dragons vs. St. John's Mavericks

For the second straight game, Cooper will face off against St. John. The Dragons will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. Cooper hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Last Tuesday, Cooper didn't have quite enough to beat St. John's and fell 2-1.

St. John's is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cooper, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12-2.
