Pleasant Plains was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bloomington Central Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Bloomington Central Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lauren Emm led the charge by scoring 18 points along with 3 steals. Emm continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Cate Uhren, who scored 14 points along with 8 assists and 4 steals.
Pleasant Plains' loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
