Basketball Recap: Caiden Nichols' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Kwigillingok over Kongiganak

Kwigillingok lost against Kongiganak last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kwigillingok Eagles took a 67-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kongiganak Wolverines.

Kwigillingok lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Caiden Nichols, who posted 21 points. James Brink was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Kwigillingok's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Kongiganak, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Kwigillingok does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kongiganak, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-67 loss against Eek on the 22nd.
