Prout faced Johnston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Neither the Crusaders nor the Panthers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Prout have been dealt a draw since back in September.

They hit Johnston with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tyler Bloom, Dylan Couto, and Ryan Samponaro.

With that draw, Prout's record moves to 5-2-3. As for Johnston, they moved theirs to 9-3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prout will take on Block Island at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Prout will be up against Block Island's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.88 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Johnston, they will square off against Toll Gate at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
