While West Geauga didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Harvey Red Raiders on Friday. That eight run margin sets a new team best for the Wolverines this season.

The victory made it two in a row for West Geauga and bumps their season record up to 7-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Harvey, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, West Geauga will look to defend their home field on Monday against Cleveland Heights at 4:30 p.m. As for Harvey, they will square off against Harding at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Skippers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.29 runs per game on average), something the Red Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
