Soccer Recap: Rockford Auburn Comes Up Short

Rockford Auburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockford Christian Royal Lions. Rockford Auburn were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Rockford Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2019.

Rockford Auburn's goal came courtesy of Camila Da Silva, which was the first she's scored this season.

Rockford Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Rockford Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Rockford Auburn will take on Harlem at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rockford Auburn's defense better be ready for this one: Harlem have averaged an impressive 3.2 goals per game this season. As for Rockford Christian, they will square off against Marengo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
