Walkertown is a perfect 10-0 against Atkins since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Walkertown Wolfpack will look to defend their home field against the Atkins Camels at 5:00 p.m. Walkertown is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Two weeks ago, Walkertown earned an 8-3 victory over Glenn.

Macy Miller made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Miller wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Graves, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base was Graves' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Atkins fell victim to Glenn and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Bobcats, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Camels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Atkins' defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 13.6 runs. As for Walkertown, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Atkins' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Walkertown hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .331. It's a different story for Atkins, though, as they've only averaged .185. Will they be able to contain Walkertown's hitters?

Everything went Walkertown's way against Atkins in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, as Walkertown made off with a 15-0 victory. Does Walkertown have another victory up their sleeve, or will Atkins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
