It was a good run, but Howards Grove unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Brookfield Central Lancers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Howards Grove had strong showings from Brianne Vandoske, who had five digs and five assists, and Kendall Cruz, who had eight digs and one assist.

Howards Grove's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Brookfield Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-16 record this season.

Howards Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against New Berlin West on the 4th. As for Brookfield Central, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Brookfield East on the 4th.
