Soccer Recap: Seabreeze Comes Up Short

After flying high against Spruce Creek last Monday, Seabreeze came back down to earth. The Sandcrabs lost 5-0 to the Nease Panthers on Monday. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Seabreeze it sure didn't stay that way.

Seabreeze's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Nease, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-2 record this season.

Seabreeze will take on New Smyrna Beach in a holiday battle at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nease, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Christ's Church Academy on the 16th.
