Volleyball Recap: Lagrange Academy Starts Season with Win Against St. Mary's Academy + How To Watch

LaGrange Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the St. Mary's Academy Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

While LaGrange Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-22.

St. Mary's Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Emily Jimenez, who had 17 digs. She has been hot, having posted 15 or more digs the last five times she's played.

St. Mary's Academy is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
