Baseball Recap: Lancaster Catholic Comes Up Short

Lancaster Catholic lost to Middletown back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Crusaders fell 5-1 to the Blue Raiders. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ty George made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Parker LaFerriere was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Lancaster Catholic now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Middletown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

Coming up, Lancaster Catholic will take on Wyomissing at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Middletown, they will host Harrisburg at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
