Trinity is a perfect 3-0 against Timber Creek since December of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trojans will square off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Neither Trinity nor Timber Creek posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Trinity is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Byron Nelson last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Trojans came up short against the Bobcat, falling 38-13. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-0.

Meanwhile, Timber Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 49-7 loss at the hands of Byron Nelson. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Bobcat are ranked 27th).

Timber Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Trinity took their victory against Timber Creek when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 42-20 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
