Volleyball Recap: Jonesville Beats Reading for Their Third Straight Win

Jonesville waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Reading Rangers by a score of 2-0. The Comets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rangers, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Jonesville was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15.

Jaclyn Henry paced Jonesville's offense, picking up six kills. Henry got some help from Olivia Babcock and her ten assists. Babcock was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Jonesville's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Reading, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jonesville will face off against Leslie at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Comets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Reading, they will venture away from home to square off against Hillsdale Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
