Baseball Game Preview: Stevenson Patriots vs. Bartlett Hawks

The Stevenson Patriots will take on the Bartlett Hawks at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Stevenson 4, Bartlett 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Stevenson blew Zion-Benton out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Zion-Benton got their revenge. The Patriots fell just short of the Zee-Bees by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Patriots' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Bartlett unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of McHenry by a score of 5-4.

Bradon Pelz made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Stevenson's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Bartlett, their loss dropped their record down to 19-9.
