Roosevelt and Slaton are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Roosevelt Eagles will challenge the Slaton Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Roosevelt is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Slaton was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell 5-2 to Muleshoe.

Slaton's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Roosevelt came up short against Slaton when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 19-14. Can Roosevelt avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
