Basketball Game Preview: Norman Thomas Tigers vs. Rustin

The Norman Thomas Tigers will take on Rustin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Norman Thomas is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Bergtraum on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Norman Thomas was outmatched by Bergtraum and fell 121-37. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 60-25.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Griggs Mcneeley, who posted 11 points. Abdullah Syllah was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Rustin had to suffer through a 81-52 loss at the hands of Graphics. The defeat continues a trend for Rustin in their matchups with Graphics: they've now lost four in a row.

Norman Thomas' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Rustin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
