Volleyball Recap: Clairemont Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Clairemont lost against Mission Bay back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chieftains came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Chieftains have suffered since October 22, 2024.

Clairemont took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-11, 25-17.

Clairemont's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Mission Bay, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Clairemont will face off against Grossmont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Mission Bay and Victory Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
