Volleyball Recap: John Paul II's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

John Paul II waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the McKinney Boyd Broncos by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Broncos on Thursday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

John Paul II easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14.

Aubrey Easterwood paced John Paul II's offense, picking up nine kills. Easterwood got some help from Lucy Schwabauer and her 25 assists. Finally, Easterwood was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

John Paul II's record is now 5-3. As for McKinney Boyd, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
