He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Matthew Garza was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zavier Garcia, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Rowe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Palmview only posted a batting average of .048.

Rowe's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest came up short against Rowe in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, falling 5-0. Can Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
