Digital Pioneers Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Sidwell Friends, who was ranked 21st at the time (Digital Pioneers Academy was ranked 12th). The Pythons simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Quakers 38-0. Considering the Pythons have won six contests by more than 27 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Digital Pioneers Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Laroy Williams, who rushed for 87 yards and one TD. Deandre Johnson was another key rusher, rushing for 41 yards and a pair of scores.

Richard Wright Public Charter School played against Connexions Leadership Academy on Saturday and won via forfeit.

Richard Wright Public Charter School picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Digital Pioneers Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
