Soccer Recap: Annapolis Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Annapolis rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bowie Bulldogs a 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Annapolis' win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Bowie, they moved to 8-4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their six-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Annapolis will face off against Leonardtown on Friday. Leonardtown's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Annapolis' offense will have their work cut out for them. Bowie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
