While Heritage put up plenty of points on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Deer Valley. The Patriots breezed past the Wolverines to the tune of 32-0. Considering the Patriots have won 11 contests by more than 19 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

One reason for the win was Heritage's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Alxira Wilright. She is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Deer Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Heritage is set to take on their familiar foe Freedom at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Deer Valley will face off against rival Antioch at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
