Basketball Recap: Olympic Heights Takes a Loss

Olympic Heights lost against Atlantic back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Olympic Heights Lions fell to the Atlantic Eagles 75-71. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (60), the Lions still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Olympic Heights lost, don't look at Jake Harbatkin. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Harbatkin a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Harrison Cohen, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

It was another big night for James Tillman, who had 21 points for Atlantic. Tillman's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Kenny James was another key player, putting up 16 points.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 3-2. As for Atlantic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Olympic Heights wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-44 win against Santaluces on the 5th. As for Atlantic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 82-61 victory against Benjamin on the 6th.
