Wabaunsee had already won 22 in a row and they went ahead and made it 23 on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Council Grove Braves by a score of 2-0. That's the first time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory on Tuesday.

Wabaunsee never let Council Grove on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-14.

Talen Orton paced Wabaunsee's offense, picking up eight kills. Orton got some help from Kinsley Michaelis and her 14 assists. Kennedy Weisshaar controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wabaunsee's win bumped their record up to 29-5. As for Council Grove, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-27.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wabaunsee beat the Braves by a score of 2-0 later that day.
