Basketball Recap: Upsala Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Upsala ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Swanville Bulldogs out 73-71. The team accrued 65 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.

Upsala's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Primus, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds. The match was Primus' third in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Calvin Leners, who went 8 for 18 on his way to 26 points.

Upsala has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Swanville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.
