Baseball Recap: Hollins Comes Up Short

Hollins had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 6-13 to make it four. They lost 8-2 to the Largo Packers. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Packers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

Julian Rosario was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

As for Largo, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season. Considering they have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

On Largo's side, Riley L. was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. Jorge Morales was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Hollins has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Osceola on the 8th. As for Largo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Dunedin on the 8th.
