It was a good run, but Greene Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 7-3 to the Farmville Central Jaguars. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Riley Radford was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Greene Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Farmville Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

While Greene Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
