The Crestwood Comets will venture away from home to face off against the Northwest Area Rangers at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Crestwood's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Wyoming Valley West as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The game was the first time the Comets have beaten the Spartans on their field since May 18, 2022.

Not much got past Brooke Lenahan, who gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks to keep Wyoming Valley West off the board. Lenahan has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Madison Mendrzycki and Ella Richards did most of the damage at the plate: Mendrzycki went 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Richards scored three runs while going 3-for-4.
