Soccer Recap: Rancho Solano Prep Comes Up Short

Rancho Solano Prep was the 6-1 winner over Phoenix Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs came up short against the Phoenix Christian Cougars on Thursday, falling 8-1. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Rancho Solano Prep is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Phoenix Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rancho Solano Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lincoln Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. After both having extra time off, Phoenix Christian and Wickenburg will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
