Basketball Recap: Lake Holcombe Gets the Win

Lake Holcombe lost to Cornell back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Lake Holcombe Chieftains came out on top against the Cornell Chiefs by a score of 47-40.

Lake Holcombe's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Cornell, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Lake Holcombe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 62-20 loss against New Auburn on the 14th. As for Cornell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 87-62 win against Birchwood on the 14th.
