Soccer Game Preview: North Gaston vs. South Point + How To Watch

North Gaston is 0-10 against South Point since September of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Wildcats will head out to square off against the Red Raiders at 6:30 p.m.

North Gaston fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Kings Mountain on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mountaineers by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that North Gaston have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, South Point hasn't lost a match since August 25th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They and Lincolnton finished up their match with a 2-2 draw.

North Gaston's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1. With that draw, South Point's record moves to 14-1-3.

North Gaston suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to South Point in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
