Basketball Recap: Valley View's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Valley View can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Callisburg Wildcats out 31-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since November 25, 2024.

Valley View's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-21. As for Callisburg, they dropped their record down to 16-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

When Valley View and Callisburg next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Valley View will challenge Ponder and their eight-game winning streak at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Callisburg will try to stop Paradise's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
