Soccer Game Preview: Gillespie vs. Greenville

Gillespie hasn't had much luck against Greenville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Miners will look to defend their home pitch against the Comets at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Gillespie played against Pana on Thursday and lost via forfeit.

Greenville is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Jersey on Monday. The Comets fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. Greenville have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Adyson Bearley, who's now up to 13 this season.

Gillespie is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4-1. As for Greenville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
