Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Fighting Saints are ranked 312th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
