Soccer Recap: San Luis Wins Going Away Against Brawley

San Luis's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Everything went their way against the Brawley Wildcats as the San Luis Sidewinders made off with a 4-1 win. Given the Sidewinders' advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 14th in Arizona, while the Wildcats are ranked 451st in California), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

San Luis hit Brawley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Luis Garcia (2), Rodrigo Ortega, and Erick Benavidez.

San Luis wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-1 win against Gila Ridge on the 10th. Brawley has also already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Yuma on the 9th.
