Basketball Recap: Kennedy Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Kennedy extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Shay Shay Clancy. The Kennedy Knights really took it to the Academy of the Holy A Angels for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-28 victory thanks in part to Clancy, who went 9 for 12 on her way to 19 points in addition to four steals and four blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Yalanis Jarrett, who went 5 of 6 en route to 10 points and five boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Academy of the Holy A, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy has already played their next game (against Passaic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Academy of the Holy A has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Mahwah.
