Baseball Recap: Hilton Head Island Takes a Loss

If Hilton Head Island was riding high fresh off their 19-8 takedown of Bluffton last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Seahawks came up short against the Bobcats on Friday, falling 14-1. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Grady Cherrington-Dunton was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Hilton Head Island's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Bluffton, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
