Fort Morgan lost against Sterling back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Fort Morgan ultimately came up short, they really made Sterling work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 27-25, 25-14.

Fort Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Sterling, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Fort Morgan and Sterling will both be playing University the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
