Volleyball Recap: Pocatello Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Pocatello and Moscow squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Pocatello had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 3-2.

Abby Lusk paced Pocatello's offense, picking up 36 kills. Lusk got some help from Josie Haymore and her 44 assists. Haymore was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Among those leading the charge was Hadliegh Barnes, who had 17 digs and one assist. Those 17 digs gave her a new career-high.

Pocatello has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-17 record this season. As for Moscow, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-13.

Pocatello does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moscow, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lakeland on the 30th.
