Lee's Summit had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Jackson Fighting Indians by a score of 35-28 on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Preston Hatfield had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 259 yards and four TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lee's Summit was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 318 rushing yards. They are 7-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Lee's Summit's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. The heavy lifting was done by Mason Kinnan and Kona Notestine, who racked up four sacks between them.

Lee's Summit's record is now 9-4. As for Jackson, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

Looking ahead, Lee's Summit will take on Nixa at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last nine games. Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
