West Davidson is a perfect 10-0 against Lexington since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The West Davidson Dragons will head out to take on the Lexington Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. West Davidson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

West Davidson came up short against North Stanly on Wednesday, falling 10-3. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

West Davidson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maci Harris, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Meghan Leonard was another, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Harris wasn't the only one working in the hit department: West Davidson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. This was only their first loss (out of four games) when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Lexington had to start their season on the road on March 3rd, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 25-9 to Parkland.

West Davidson now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

West Davidson took their win against Lexington in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Davidson since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
