It was a good run, but Arizona College Prep unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Chaparral Firebirds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Firebirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 1st.

Arizona College Prep took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 28-26.

Laela Barksdale paced Arizona College Prep's offense, picking up eight kills. Barksdale got some help from Riley Thomson and her 12 assists.

Arizona College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16-2. As for Chaparral, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-4.
