Wayne's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Ponitz Career Tech Golden Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Warriors not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9, 2024.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-16, 25-14.

Wayne's offense was headlined by Eddie Gomez-Senquiz and Nas'Zier Foster, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Christopher Moore and his 14 assists. Gomez-Senquiz was also solid from the service line: he led the team with 12 aces.

The victory got Wayne back to even at 1-1.

Wayne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Chillicothe on the 25th. As for Ponitz Career Tech, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Belmont on the 24th.
