Volleyball Recap: Rapid City Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Watertown on Friday, Rapid City Central came back down to earth. The Cobblers fell 2-0 to the Harrisburg Tigers on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Cobblers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-9.

Rapid City Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Harrisburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Rapid City Central is set to face off against their familiar foe Yankton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Harrisburg will challenge rival Sturgis Brown at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.
