Soccer Game Preview: Sioux City North vs. Bishop Heelan Catholic

The Sioux City North Stars will head out on the road to face off against the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sioux City North's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Sioux City North's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against East Sac County, sneaking past 1-0.

Meanwhile, Bishop Heelan Catholic came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the J-Hawks. Bishop Heelan Catholic's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matchups.

Bishop Heelan Catholic pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those nine contests. As for Sioux City North, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-1.
