Meridian entered their tilt with Fauquier on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They enjoyed a cozy 43-29 victory over the Fauquier Falcons. 43 seems to be a good number for the Mustangs as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Nora Stufft was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Charlotte Lieu, who posted nine points and three steals.

Meridian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Fauquier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.

Meridian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-19 victory against Liberty on the 28th. As for Fauquier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-35 win against Warren County on the 28th.
