Football Recap: P.K. Yonge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

P.K. Yonge extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to nine on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They had to suffer through a 58-14 loss at the hands of the Hamilton County Trojans. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Wave have lost by exactly 44 points.

As for Hamilton County, they now have a winning record of 4-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Hamilton County was led to victory by Matthew Berry and Haigen Johnson. Berry rushed for 94 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries, while Johnson threw for 92 yards and two TDs. The dominant performance also gave Berry a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Brandon Robinson made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. P.K. Yonge will face off against Specially Fit Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Blue Wave surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hamilton County, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dixie County at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.
