Baseball Recap: Marion Harding Victorious

Marion Harding posted their closest victory since April 3, 2024 on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the River Valley Vikings 5-4. The win continues a trend for the Presidents in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won nine in a row.

Gavyn Baumgartner made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double.
